1. Summary
TapLuck is an offline party game that picks a random player by detecting fingers on the screen. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts. The App works without you providing any personal information. We do, however, use third-party services for advertising, purchases, analytics and crash reporting, which process limited data as described below.
2. Data we process
We do not run our own servers that store your personal data. Data is processed by the third-party SDKs embedded in the App:
| Purpose | Provider | Data processed |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising | Google AdMob | Advertising identifier, device/diagnostic data, approximate region, ad interaction. Used to serve and measure ads. |
| Purchases | RevenueCat + Apple/Google billing | Anonymous app user id, purchase/receipt status for the products you buy (e.g. remove ads, theme packs). No card data reaches us — payment is handled by Apple/Google. |
| Analytics | Google Firebase Analytics | Pseudonymous app instance id, in-app events (e.g. rounds played, theme selected), device model, OS, language. |
| Crash reporting | Firebase Crashlytics | Crash stack traces, device state at crash time, pseudonymous identifiers. |
On your device only, we store your preferences (selected theme, language, team count, unlocked products) using local storage. This never leaves your device except as part of a purchase record held by the billing/RevenueCat services.
For more on how these providers handle data, see their privacy policies: Google (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics), Apple and RevenueCat.
3. Advertising and consent
- In the European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland, the App shows a Google UMP consent form before serving personalized ads. If you do not consent, ads are served in non-personalized mode.
- On iOS 14.5+, the App requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not used for cross-app tracking.
- You can reset or withdraw advertising consent at any time via your device settings, and (where offered) from within the App.
For details on how Google uses data, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: consent (personalized advertising, analytics where required), and legitimate interests / contract (delivering purchases you request, basic functionality, security and crash diagnostics).
5. Your rights
Depending on your location (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA and similar), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, to object, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold directly-identifying data, please contact us at hello.diceandcode@gmail.com and we will direct your request to the relevant processor. You may also exercise rights directly with Google/Apple/RevenueCat.
6. Children’s privacy
TapLuck is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 14 (the age of digital consent in Spain under the LOPDGDD). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello.diceandcode@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local preferences persist until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Data held by third-party processors is retained per their own policies (Google, Apple, RevenueCat).
To delete the preferences stored on your device, uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings. For data held by the third-party processors, use their own controls or contact us and we will forward your request.
8. International transfers
The third-party processors may process data outside your country, including the United States, under their respective safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the last-updated date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
